Last night was one for the record books.  CWB was on fire, performing cuts off their new CD, “Come Get To This”.  Craig’s son CJ sung his new song which is featured on the new CD and wow, it was great.  Get a copy of the CD folks, there will be many cuts to hit the charts.  Don’t forget every Wed. is the Mid-Week Shag Party with the best bands in Beach Music and Yours truly playing all your favorites.  We want you to tell everyone you know so our family will get bigger and bigger.

Tonight, Friday night and Saturday night the schedule is full at the Sandbar, just go to the Sandbar website to get all the information.  And then, this Sunday the first “SHAG-TASTIC” will be the show not to miss.  Band oz Oz, Fantastic Shakers, Big Daddy Rhythm and the Heavyweights and the Little Man Of Beach Music will take the stage starting at 2:00.  There will be food provided, cold cold drinks and plenty of Beach Music.  Folks this is the type of entertainment we’ve been asking for and the Sandbar is laying it out.  Come out, show your support and have a great time.  For those of you who have not been to the Sandbar, we invite you out this Sunday to get a good taste of the fun we have every week.  Also the, “Little Man Of Beach Music” t-shirts will be on sale.  We sold out of the first order and re-ordered today.  Come get the hottest t-shirt in the industry, we’ll have all sizes.  If anyone needs directions just call me 910-385-7424 (shag).  SEE YOU THERE!

It’s time for our weekly meeting, “The Mid-Week Shag Party” you know it.  Tonight at the Sandbar is yours truly and the CWB coming off their play dates at SOS and ready to bring the energy to the stage in Clayton.  The CWB always brings the crowd and tonight will be one of the greats.  Doors open at 7:00 with your favorites and request and the band will take the stage around 8:30.  Lady members you get in free until 8:00 and half price the rest of the night.  This will also be a great time to get your Shag-tastic tickets for this Sunday Sept. 30th with the Band of Oz, the Fantastic Shakers and Big Daddy Rhythm and again yours truly.  YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS SHOW!  Make the Sandbar your plans for the week-end.

It’s the third Friday of the month and you know what that means!  It’s Beach Night at Osais Oyster Bar in Clinton, NC.  We move the tables back and shag on up to 1:00 in the morning.  The music starts at 9:oo with the very best in beach, rhythm and blues.  Don’t forget, come early and enjoy a nice diner at the best place to dine in Sampson County, (the oysters, seafood and steaks are incredible).  See ya tonight!  If you need directions call me at 910- 385-7424.

Well folks I have returned from the place we all love, NMB.  That’s right, I had to come back a little early so I could get ready for tonight with the Holiday Band live at the SANDBAR BEACH CLUB.  Holiday always does a great job so come on out tonight for the Mid-Week Shag Party and enjoy drinks specials, the Holiday Band and yours truly playing the best in beach and shag music.  Don’t forget the Lil’ Red and the Tams will be back by popular demand at the Sandbar this Friday night the 21st and you don’t want to miss it.  Tickets will be on sale tonight so you can get them in advance. 

Alright, A big thanks to a lot of people, HOTO’s, Josh, Joey, Mark Roberts, Brian Crews, Bo the Webguy, Jim Quick, Glenn Tippet, Chad Sain, Andy at Green Dot Music and some of the members of The Causeway Shag Club, the list could go on and on, for making yesterday a great success (love ya Phil).  Everyone that attended and was involved in Mark Roberts CD release party on the deck at HOTO’s, a big thanks, we had a great time.  The CD is called, “Fast and Free” and it’s currently for sale. You can pick it up online at Judy’s House of Oldies or of course any live show of Coastline.  We played about 8 cuts yesterday and the crown loved them.  The cd has a little for everybody with a mix that will satisfy the Shagger’s and those who love soul.  You want to make sure you add it to your collection, folks the man is Talented.  We sold out of the, “Little Man of Beach Music” t-shirts but we are reordering today.  Leave me a comment if you want one and your size.

All in all the short time I was at SOS, it was great.  Got to see a lot of people I had not seen in a while.  It was good to see Chris and Wendy Spell, Mr. Ervin and Gary (you guys take the party where ever you go).  Also Jay Nelms, “Salty” Wade and Jimmy Bufkin were spinning at Fat Harold’s and that’s always good!

Folks I will see you tonight with the Holiday Band, don’t forget lady members you get in free before 8:00pm at the Sandbar and 1/2 price the rest of the night.  It’s going to be a party!

TONIGHT! It’s Sandbar time once again with Big Daddy Rhythm and The Heavyweights and yours truly.  These guys always puts on a great show and the crowd is good.  I got a feeling the Sugar Britches Shag Club will be in the house in rare form tonight.  I think Mr. Cranberry might make an appearance.  Want to take a minute and say Happy Birthday to, “Shug” Ezzell and congrats to Jessie and Jennifer on their wedding today!  Look forward to seeing everyone tonight come out and join us!  Also the t-shirts will be for sale tonight and they are moving quick.  We are already getting our second order together.

What a show!  Coastline as always gives us what we go to get, the best in beach music entertainment.  Week in and week out these guys stand on stages all over the Carolina’s and beyond and do what they do best.  But when they come to the Mid-Week Shag Party at the Sandbar Beach Club, it’s let loose time and it was proven once again last night.  Great job fellows.  

Folks I’m telling you, trust me when I say, the Sandbar is the place to be for the best entertainment around!  Just in case you’re reading this and have not been to the Sandbar, allow me tell you what kind of establishment it is.  Brand new, smoke free, upscale, and always clean and fresh.  The drinks are always cold and the staff at he Sandbar goes out of their way to make you, not only feel appreciated but always welcomed.  I tip my hat to Steve and Ashley, no matter when you walk through the doors they greet you with a smile.  Things like this is what separates this club from any other.  Not to mention the steady flow of the best beach music bands and Dj’s in the business.  We want you to be apart of the Sandbar, come by, fill out a membership and become a familiar face.

I wanted to get the information on the site as soon as I heard the news!  Tuesday, the 18th of this month, during SOS, I will be playing along with Mark Roberts for his CD Release Party on the deck at HOTO’s, North Myrtle Beach.  It’s going to start around 2:00 so come early and get a seat.  Want to say a special thanks to Brian Crews for making the event possible and also to Joey and Josh at HOTO’s.  Also, Bo the Webguy and I will have the new, “Little Man Of Beach Music” t-shirts for sale, when you see these shirts you’re gonna love them.  Can’t wait to see everyone, you know it’s going to be a party.  Let me know if you’re coming!

Friday Night I have a private engagement in Garner and then Saturday night I’m back at the Sandbar.  Big Daddy Rhythm and The Heavyweights will be on stage and I will be in rare form playing the best in beach and rhythm & blues.  I’ve heard through the grapevine the Sugar Britches Shag Club will be in the house and ready to party.  It’s going to be a great night and I look forward to seeing you.  I think this will be the first appearance for Mr. Cranberry at the Sandbar. Who ole who is Mr. Cranberry?

Also folks Lil’ Red and the Tams are going to be back in the house at the Sandbar Friday September the 21st.  Tickets are on sale now at the club and you need to get yours in advance.  Of course’ the tickets are cheaper in advance and and I feel like it will sell out.  And then, don’t forget the first ever, “Shagtastic Sunday” at the Sandbar coming September 30th.  Oz, Shakers and Big Daddy all on Sunday.  I will be there spinning and it will also sell out.  Get your tickets now!  SEE YA WED.
