Back from NMB
Well folks I have returned from the place we all love, NMB. That’s right, I had to come back a little early so I could get ready for tonight with the Holiday Band live at the SANDBAR BEACH CLUB. Holiday always does a great job so come on out tonight for the Mid-Week Shag Party and enjoy drinks specials, the Holiday Band and yours truly playing the best in beach and shag music. Don’t forget the Lil’ Red and the Tams will be back by popular demand at the Sandbar this Friday night the 21st and you don’t want to miss it. Tickets will be on sale tonight so you can get them in advance.
Alright, A big thanks to a lot of people, HOTO’s, Josh, Joey, Mark Roberts, Brian Crews, Bo the Webguy, Jim Quick, Glenn Tippet, Chad Sain, Andy at Green Dot Music and some of the members of The Causeway Shag Club, the list could go on and on, for making yesterday a great success (love ya Phil). Everyone that attended and was involved in Mark Roberts CD release party on the deck at HOTO’s, a big thanks, we had a great time. The CD is called, “Fast and Free” and it’s currently for sale. You can pick it up online at Judy’s House of Oldies or of course any live show of Coastline. We played about 8 cuts yesterday and the crown loved them. The cd has a little for everybody with a mix that will satisfy the Shagger’s and those who love soul. You want to make sure you add it to your collection, folks the man is Talented. We sold out of the, “Little Man of Beach Music” t-shirts but we are reordering today. Leave me a comment if you want one and your size.
All in all the short time I was at SOS, it was great. Got to see a lot of people I had not seen in a while. It was good to see Chris and Wendy Spell, Mr. Ervin and Gary (you guys take the party where ever you go). Also Jay Nelms, “Salty” Wade and Jimmy Bufkin were spinning at Fat Harold’s and that’s always good!
Folks I will see you tonight with the Holiday Band, don’t forget lady members you get in free before 8:00pm at the Sandbar and 1/2 price the rest of the night. It’s going to be a party!
