This week it’s the Entertainers on stage at the Sandbar Beach Club in Clayton, NC.  for the Mid-week Shag Party and as always Girls Night Out.  Lady members get there before 8:00pm and get in free and I will start the music around seven.  I started playing for the Entertainers back in my Club Faces days and these guys are great.  Earl Dawkins always lays it down for the shaggers. 

Don’t Forget, “Shagtastic Sunday” coming up September the 30th with OZ, Shakers, Big Daddy and yours truly.  Tickets are on sale now at the Sandbar, folks get your tickets early, it will sell out.  This is going to be one of those party’s, (you know what I mean).  Get all the information on the Sanbar web-site and I look forward to seeing you there.

The party started with the Causeway Shag Club at Gilligan’s in Topsail Beach this past Saturday night.  The turn out was GREAT and as always the hospitality was the best!  This was the first meeting at Gilligan’s for the Causeway Shag Club and I think everyone was happy.  The members of Causeway are some of the best.  These folks know how to have a good time and I love playing for them every chance I get.  Oh yeah, it’s for the Fun of it and they prove that everytime we get together.

Then it was Myrtle Beach time, Fat Harold’s time and of course COASTLINE TIME!  Coastline was in the front room of Harold’s celebrating their 15th year anniversary and I was in the back spinning OUR music.  I’m not stretching the truth in saying it was standing room only, and that was just the back room, the front room look like the a section from the crowd at the Triangle Beach Music Festival.  This was one of those party’s you hear about for a long time, (ask Brian Crews).  It was good to see so many of the Sugar Britches Shag Club turn out and Tommy Black was in the house, (always good to see you Tommy).  I had a great time playing for the crowd and the energy level was through the roof.  Congrats to Jim Quick and the guys on their anniversary and folks if you were there you know the performance Coastline put on.  Also thanks to Brenda, of course the best bartender in the world, as always she kept the crowd satisfied.  Thanks to everyone who came out to see us this weekend we had a great time!
