Habatastic Was A Huge Success!
I wanted to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who came out last night to the Sandbar Beach club to support the Johnston County Habitat For Humanity. The event was, “Habitastic” and there were many people who worked very hard to raise money for this worthy cause. Thank you to the Johnston County Association of Realtors for all their planning and support, thank you to The Sandbar Beach Club for hosting the event and thank you to Mike Steward, Blackley’s Printing, The Coffee Mill, Pine Hollow and Riverwood Golf Club, Cresent State Bank, North Tower Band, Coastline and everyone in attendance. The silent auction was also a success with the quality of items, some lucky people took home. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out, because everyone played a part to make this event such a success. Now, what can I say about the bands last night.
North Tower, you guys were great, the song selction was just what the crowd needed and the Manhattans tune you covered, WOW! Now folks as I’ve said before when COASTLINE is in the house hold on, the energy is through the roof. The guys lay it down everytime their on stage! Closing the event out last night with the crowd still ready for more! Thank fellows for helping the Johnston County Habitat for Humanity.
The Sandbar along with Carlton and Brandy also kicked in three individual shag lessons for the raffle. Carlton and Brandy are the shag instructors for the Sandbar and we want to say thank you for your support. Ok, I think I’ve covered the majority of the event. If I left something out let me know, I want to make sure everyone gets mentioned. From the smallest part to the hardest work, everybody pulling together made the event a huge success.
The owners and management of the Sandbar Beach Club want to extend a special thank you for everyone who attended last night. If you have an organization or a group that would like to hold a similar event please let the manager of the Sandbar, Steve Rushin know and he will help you in making your event a success.
Tonight at the Sandbar is the after party! Garner’s Volunteer Fireman’s Day in downtown Garner is today and the Fantastic Shakers go on Stage at 4:00pm. And that’s right, the after party is at the Sandbar Beach Club with yours truly, The Little Man Of Beach Music. Doors open at 7:00 with all you requests and favorite beach, rhythm and blues. See Ya tonight!
