I sincerely hope that each and everyone had a fabulous Christmas with your family and friends. Christmas time has always been my favorite time of the year, celebrating the birth of Jesus and reflecting back on all our blessings throughout the year. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2008. Speaking of 2008, oh what a year it’s going to be. It is time to make your plans for the 2008 Triangle Beach Spring Fling coming up in March. This week I will post all the information you will need and I look forward to you coming.
Oh what a week this is going to be! First I would like to say Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and I hope you are excited as I am! This Wed. night its’ “Coastline Time” at the Sandbar. You know as well as I do Jim and the guys bring the party to the stage and we’re celebrating the holidays with 2007 group of the year! Doors open at seven and the house will be packed, get there early and kick off the last weekend before Christmas.
Thursday night……..WALL TO WALL CHRISTMAS BALL at the Longbranch. I promise, you don’t want to miss this! You can still get your tickets in advance this Wed. at the Sandbar for $15. Both sides are going to be open with beach music on the country side and cover bands doing rock and dance on the top 40 side. Tell everybody you know and I will see you there!
This Friday night is the third Friday of the month and you know what that means. OASIS in Clinton for beach and shag night with the Little Man Of Beach Music! The music starts at 9:00 but come early and have some of the best oysters you will ever eat. There’s plenty of room to dance and the best drinks around!
There’s plenty of good beach music and great places to go, so get dancing shoes and I’ll see ya this week!
Two great events, what can I say? First of all Friday night was the 18th annual Hall Of Shame Christmas Party at Carolina Beach! Wow does these folks do it up right! There was close to 300 people in attendance and there to have a good time. Beverly Limm provided and excellent spread of food and there was plenty to go around! I met so many nice people and the hospitality was the best. I’m so glad everyone had a good time and I look forward to playing for the Hall Of Shame in the future!
Then Saturday night was the Dubose National Energy Christmas party at the Balcony on Dock St. in Wilmington. I tip my hat to Carl and Connie Rogers for such an excellent event. I have provide services for this party on four occasions and every-time the event gets better. Saying hello and Merry Christmas to all the staff and their families at Dubose National Energy. Thank you so much for a great evening. Already looking forward to next year!

Then on Saturday Night headed back to downtown Wilmington for Dubose National Energy to play for their famous Christmas Party! This is always a great time and I look forward to it every year!

Well what can I say but, “WHAT A GROUP” the Magnificents are! This was the first time I had a chance to play with them and they were GREAT! I love the choice of songs and the band was tight! There was a great crowd at the Sandbar and everyone enjoyed their self! It was good to see some folks I had not seen in a while and there was a lot of new faces in the house. Don’t forget the Hump Day Party this Wed. at the Sandbar it has turned out to be a great time and yes it is all your shag and beach request! Doors open at seven and we go until. I would love to have you join us and I look forward to seeing you!
CAUSEWAY at GILIGANS in Surf City this past Saturday night was great. Causeway Shag Club’s moto is, “We Do It For Fun” and that’s just what it was! It was great to see all the crowd and I want to say to each one of the members, “Thank You For Your Support”. We have several of the members going on the cruise with us in Feb. 09 and I can’t wait!
